Dr. Prof. Vinay Kumar completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the School of Biotechnology, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India which is one of the premier institutes in India. Currently, he is working as full professor at Tissue Engineering and Drug Delivery Laboratory, Department of Community Medicine, Saveetha Medical College, and Hospital, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai, India. During his academic career he achieved several prestigious awards. He was awarded with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and national eligibility test (NET) in Life Sciences award by CSIR, New Delhi, India. He was awarded with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Biotechnology from the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, Government of India. He was awarded with Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Life Science by IIT, India. He was awarded with National Eligibility Test (NET) in Agricultural Biotechnology by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), India.
